AWARE is a collaborative sector-driven co-design project to provide specialist training for existing and potential individual advocates, working in areas of social justice and human rights.

The project was funded by Lotterywest from January 2021 until June 2022 to co-design and run the pilot course. The project was auspiced by the Health Consumers Council (WA) and coordinated and administrated by Evolve WA.

EMPOWER disability-led advocacy training is a project funded by the Department of Communities to support self-advocacy and associated community supports for people with disability.

In 2023, EMPOWER will be running a free Advocacy Mentoring Program for people with disabilities.

The program is open to people with a disability, living in Western Australia, who are interested in participating in a structured advocacy program.
